Flowability (ASTM-C230M [4])
The
consistence of UHPdC can be determined by simple flow table test as per
ASTM-C230M [4] during mixing. Figure 1 shows the typical relationship
of the flowability against 28 days cylinder compressive strength on standard
UHPdC with 2% of steel fiber. The compressive strength generally is decreases
with the increases of flowability. Large variation has been observed at the flow
value of 170mm to 190mm. This is mainly due to the different source of cement
from the local sources.
