Experts From The Czech Republic in Dura Technology

IPOH: Group of four visitor from Czech Republic which include Prof. Drahmir Novak and Associate Prof. David Lehky from Brno University of Technology, while Dr. Radomir Pukl and Martin Berka  from Cervenka Consulting were visit Dura Technology Sdn Bhd  Factory on 24th April 2018.
 
They toured the factory’s production process of bridge segments , and an experimental testing of specimens in three-point and  four-point bending configurations for expert discussion, knowledge exchange and establishing a future cooperation.

Later on, during the presentation session, two professors from Brno University of Technology presented the FraMePID-3PB software for mechanical fracture parameter identification of plain concrete which is now being extended for UHPFRC. The presentation include, parameter identification procedure implemented within the software uses artificial neural network-based inverse analysis.

Meanwhile, two representatives of developers, Červenka Consulting company from Prague presented main aspects and features of the software which is nonlinear finite element software ATENA (http://www.cervenka.cz) to excels in realistic simulation of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.

They showed the main advantages compared to other commercial software highlighting its tight connection with the reliability software FReET (http://www.freet.cz) and the identification software FraMePID-3PB. The whole system is very powerful tool for reliability analysis and lifetime prediction of bridges and other structures.

Finally, possibilities of future cooperation were discussed. There is a high interest from both sides especially related to mechanical fracture parameter identification and FraMePID software development. “We have planned to collaborate with Dura Technology to develop our software (FraMePID-3PB & ATENA) in Ultra High Performance Concrete,’’ they said. The Czech group will analyze data from Dura Technology company and will consider them for implementation into the software. A future international project collaboration will be appreciated by both sides.

IPOH: Empat pelawat dari Republik Czech termasuk Prof. Drahmir Novak dan Associate Prof. David Lehky dari Brno University of Technology, manakala Dr Radomir Pukl dan Martin Berka dari Cervenka Consulting melawat Kilang Dura Technology Sdn Bhd pada 24 April 2018.

Mereka melawat proses pengeluaran kilang segmen jambatan, dan ujian eksperimen spesimen dalam konfigurasi lenturan 'three point' dan 'four point' untuk perbincangan ahli, pertukaran pengetahuan dan mewujudkan kerjasama masa depan.

Kemudian, semasa sesi pembentangan, dua profesor dari Universiti Teknologi Brno menyampaikan perisian FraMePID-3PB untuk mengenalpasti parameter patah mekanikal konkrit biasa yang kini diperluaskan untuk UHPFRC. Pembentangan termasuk, prosedur pengenalan parameter yang dilaksanakan dalam perisian menggunakan analisis songsang berasaskan rangkaian neural tiruan.

Sementara itu, dua wakil pemaju, syarikat Červenka Consulting dari Prague mempersembahkan aspek utama dan ciri-ciri perisian yang merupakan perisian unsur terhingga bukan linear ATENA (http://www.cervenka.cz) untuk menguasai dalam simulasi realistik struktur konkrit dan 'reinforced concrete'.

Mereka menunjukkan kelebihan utama berbanding perisian komersial lain yang menekankan 'tight connection'  dengan perisian kebolehpercayaan FReET (http://www.freet.cz) dan perisian pengenalan FraMePID-3PB. Seluruh sistem adalah alat yang sangat kuat untuk analisis kebolehpercayaan dan ramalan sepanjang hayat jambatan dan struktur lain.

Akhirnya, kemungkinan kerjasama masa depan dibincangkan. Terdapat minat yang tinggi dari kedua-dua pihak terutamanya berkaitan dengan pengenalan parameter keretakan mekanikal dan pembangunan perisian FraMePID. "Kami merancang untuk bekerjasama dengan Teknologi Dura untuk membangunkan perisian kami (FraMePID-3PB & ATENA) dalam Konkrit Prestasi Tinggi Ultra," kata mereka. Kumpulan Czech akan menganalisis data dari syarikat Teknologi Dura dan akan mempertimbangkannya untuk dilaksanakan ke dalam perisian. Kerjasama projek antarabangsa akan dihargai oleh kedua-dua pihak
